Camp Easter Seals Receives Cheque
Club members are looking forward to the months ahead as another new cabin is underway at Camp Easter Seal!
President Ken Dawe presented this year's contribution to the Saskatchewan Abilities Council, which completes the necessary amount for the new cabin. Camp Manager Su Huynh accepted the cheque of $30,000 on behalf of the Council and expressed much appreciation to the members. She reported that over 700 people enjoyed another wonderful summer at the facility. When the camps ended, work was started to demolish another two of the original cabins & start the work on the foundation of the new one. Work will be done by a local company from the Watrous area & it is hoped to be ready for campers next summer.
Club Appreciation Evening June 2013
An enjoyable evening was hosted by the Draggins members for fellow car enthusiasts & friends of the club. Lots of chatter and so good to see all the projects on the road after the long winter. A real collection of hot rods, classics, cycles, and rat rods. The cooks kept the hot dogs coming and the conversations carried on for hours. Thanks for attending!
